THE CLUB FLOURISHES! - Now in our new 'home' THE GALA CLUB every Friday

After many years holding the CWC on Friday's at the Dowty Club, we had to move away from 04 SEPT 2009 onwards. This was due to (1) Dowty’s sudden and unreasonable demands for massive increases in Friday room hire fees and (2) the worrying uncertainty of continued availability of the Dowty venue going through 2010.

So, from 2010 we have moved our ‘home’ to the excellent GALA CLUB in Longford, Gloucester (see address above) and we meet EVERY FRIDAY.

SILVERFOX CWC continues to flourish throughout 2010, with typically 70-90 guests every week, and we've had many truly great nights with brilliant live acts!  With your support we look forward to continuing to thrive and grow the club and enjoying our renowned great country music evenings in a friendly and fun atmosphere!

Running a club is very time consuming, and is a year-round commitment. The club is run on a non-profit basis, and the aim is simply to cover all the costs.  I put a lot of effort into striving to make this club the success that many tell me it is.  I would like to thank all the many loyal supporters of the club who attend regularly and who make it all so worthwhile.

We warmly welcome newcomers of course - it is not 'clicky' in any way - so whether you are single, or a couple, why not come along and try it? You are certain to make new friends.  We look forward to seeing you there!

ADMISSION CHARGES

Admission charges can vary depending upon the cost of the artiste we have and are coded in the gig list above as (A1) (A2) (A3) and (A4).

(A1)  £5 for members (meaning 2010 SILVERFOX CWC members) and £6 for non-members.

(A2)  £6 for members and £7 for non-members.

(A3)  £7 for members and £8 for non-members.

(A4)  £7.50 for members and £9 for non-members.

2010 SILVERFOX CWC Membership is just £7.00 per person.  You get discounted weekly admission and could win £50 CASH !!!  See details at top.
